During the year Jewel heart offers an extensive program of activities both for its members and all those who are interested. Generally, our teacher Gelek Rimpoche visits the Netherlands each spring and fall to give teachings at different levels. Many of these activities take place at the Jewel Heart Center in Nijmegen but during his spring visit, there are also public talks and/or workshop in other cities in the Netherlands where Jewel heart groups are located, i.e. 's-Hertogenbosch, Tilburg and Utrecht.

Public Talk H.H. the Sakya Trizin
This subjects of this public talk are 'How to apply Dharma in our daily lives' and 'Samatha and Vipassana'.

H.H. the 41st Sakya Trizin is the highest authority of the Sakya school of Tibettan Buddhism.

Moon positions

Full moon is on the 15th day of the Tibetan moon month, new moon is on the 30th day, and Guru Puja and tsoh are celebrated on the 10th and 25th day. Gelek Rimpoche has a special connection with White Tara. It is extra beneficial to do the White Tara practice with full and possibly also new moon.
